About Us

Jias Malpco was formed by John and Michael Pertile back in 1992 and have well and truly become a well-established quality builder.


It did not take long for the two brothers to build a reputable name in delivering a quality project time and time again. With both directors being actively involved on site, during every stage of the project, ensuring the high standards that they strive for, is surely the reason for their success in delivering the clients dream home or project. Both John and Michael pride themselves on maintaining a long term relationship with both architects, clients and designers, which is another reason why they all come to call on Jias Malpco as their preferred builder of choice.

Mick Pertile
Project Manager / Director
Michael has been involved in the building and construction industry for over 30 years after starting off in the commercial sector while waiting for his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner.

His time spent on multi story work taught him many skills and he acquired much knowledge which became very useful in his later years. Since then, he has gone onto complete his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner and furthered his knowledge with a number of certificates in his field, including OH&S and Civil Construction Cert Three.

Michael’s role in the business is to oversee projects from the ground up and liaise with clients, architects and contractors. His extensive knowledge, passion and keen eye for both quality and design are all paramount in delivering outstanding projects time and time again, which is one of the many reasons architects and customers call on Jias Malpco when considering a project.
John Pertile
Project Manager / Director
Holding a Diploma of building and Graduate Diploma of building, John has strong knowledge in project management, and various building material and methods, that add value to any build or job, through years of experience John has established a strong eye for detail and ability to deal with complex design.
Simon Simcocks
Project Manager / Estimator
Simon is the Project manager / Estimator of Jias Malpco and has over 30 years of experience in the Building Industry and is a Registered Building Practitioner.

Simon has worked in Building Management roles for some of the most prestigious builders throughout his career.

Clients, architects and engineers liaise directly with Simon on all matters from concept through to completion. Due to his ability to directly manage each site, oversee costings and maintain client satisfaction, Simon enhances the success of any construction development at Jias Malpco.
